There’s something magical about sipping a cup of coffee that tells a story — and our new Ambler Coffee Peru Organic Geisha Light Roast has a story worth savoring.
This standout roast features delicate tasting notes of:
🍏 Dried apple
🍑 Dried apricots
🍊 Sweet clementine
🍯 A touch of natural agave
It’s bright, clean, and refined — everything you’d expect from a carefully cultivated Geisha varietal, and then some.
Grown in the High Valleys of Peru
The beans in this roast come from Cajamarca, a region in northern Peru where the Andes mountains meet the Amazon. This convergence creates a tapestry of unique microclimates and incredibly fertile land — perfect for producing nuanced, high-quality coffee.

Coffee has been growing in Cajamarca’s inter-Andean valleys for over 200 years, with knowledge and techniques passed down through generations. Nearly 43% of all Peruvian coffee is grown here, and once you taste this cup, you’ll understand why.
What Makes This Geisha Special?
This particular washed Geisha lot was fermented for 72 hours in cherry, then another 72 hours after pulping — an extended fermentation process that enhances the fruit-forward notes and natural sweetness. It was then dried slowly on raised beds in a solar dryer, allowing all those intricate flavors to develop.
Roasted with Care in Sycamore
Back in our Sycamore roastery, owner and lead roaster Karen Weckerly and her team took great care dialing in the roast profile to preserve the elegance and complexity of this bean. It’s light, clean, and beautifully expressive — the kind of coffee you sip slowly and think about long after the cup is empty.

If you’re a fan of bright, fruit-forward light roasts or simply love trying coffees with a story, this one’s for you.
🛍️ Available now at both Coroco locations and online — but like all of our Ambler small batch offerings, it won’t last long. Grab your bag while it’s here!
